QAI is proud to announce the construction of a new Semi-Anechoic Chamber to expand on the current electromagnetic capabilities the company offers. With an expected completion by spring 2017 QAI will be operating two Semi-Anechoic Chambers at our Burnaby, British Columbia location. This is exciting news for the company as it comes at a time when the market for EMC testing is continuing to grow, allowing QAI to meet the growing needs of clients looking to test their products. The new chamber is 26 feet in length and 16 feet wide while having an usable interior height of 17 feet.
The EMC department, along with the rest of QAI, are excited for the completion of the new chamber as it demonstrates another milestone in our drive to grow our services. Director of the EMC department, Parminder Singh, describes this as “an exciting time for our department”. Parminder elaborated on how “it creates less of a wait time for clients to do testing as well as allowing QAI to test bigger products”. The new chamber will compliment the existing chamber, but in the end will be able to provide more testing to a greater variety of products.
