A QAI Code Evaluation Report (CER) is a published report demonstrating that your building product complies with applicable sections of the building code for specific applications. It outlines the uses and limitations of a building product and is often used to show building officials and customers that complex or innovative building products meet specific code requirements. To apply for a QAI CER please click here and email your application to email@example.com.
A Code Evaluation Report describes the applications in which the building product is considered code compliant.
QAI is an accredited one-stop-shop for Testing, Inspection, and Certification Services, which allows us to complete the majority of the process and tests in-house.
A building official, architect or engineer can read a CER and understand the applications in which a building product is approved for use.
A CER is commonly used to demonstrate compliance of products that do not have a clear set of compliance criteria outlined in the code.
In general, anything to do with the exterior envelope of the building is within QAI’s wheelhouse. A few examples include:
Insulating Concrete Forms
Building Wraps and Underlays
