Durability Testing of Mattresses
ASTM F1566 is used to evaluate the durability of mattress products and their ability to retain physical properties after years of wear.
The rollator test from ASTM F1566 involves 100,000 cycles with a 240 lb. roller moving across the surface of the mattress or foundation. The increase or decrease in height, firmness and overall structural durability is recorded at the conclusion of the testing.
