Relocatable Commercial Industrial Structures

All markings must be permanent and visible after installation.

1. The specification nameplate (item 1068, 8-1/2” x 14” in size) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:
 Manufacturer’s Name and Address
 Date of Manufacture
 Model Serial Number or Product Code
 Foundation Type (Perimeter Foundation Wall or Piers)
 Floor live Load
 Specified Snow Load (1/50)
 Seismic Response S_a (0.2)
 Hourly Wind Pressure (1/50)
 Envelope Effective Thermal Resistance
 Windows/Doors/Skylights Thermal Characteristics
 Outside Design Temperature (Heal Loss or Heat Gain)
 Factory Installed Appliances
 Site Installed Components, Assemblies, and Systems
 Electrical Systems Voltage, Frequency, and Amperage

The QAI label and specification nameplate are available from QAI and must be applied at the factory.

Relocatable Commercial Industrial Structures are used for Major Occupancy classified as Group C (Residential) and Group D (Business and Personal Services occupancies). Buildings with sleeping accommodation have a building area not exceeding 600m² and buildings without sleeping accommodation have a building area not exceeding 1200m².

Structures described above typically include but are not limited to construction camp facilities, such as dormitories, portable washroom trailers, dining trailers, office space and other similar commercial or industrial buildings. These buildings are comprised of single or multiple modules in a single storey configuration and without sprinkler systems.
This listing does not include vehicular lighting or break wiring systems.

Structural:
Conventional Wood Frame Construction within the limitations of Part 9 of the National Building Code.

Electrical Ratings:
120/240 VAC, 60Hz, 600A max.

Heating/Ventilation:
Exterior wall mounted forced air furnaces. Units to be Electric only. Systems may be equipped with air conditioning.

Plumbing:
Conventional drainage and venting systems to a maximum of 240 hydraulic fixture units.
Gas Systems:
None.
