Certification Registration Introduction

SRRC (State Radio Regulation of China) is a mandatory certification requirement of the National Radio Management Committee, directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MII).  They mandate that all radio component products sold and used in China must first obtain Radio Type Approval Certification.

At present, China has set a specific frequency range for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies can be legally used in China. In addition, applicants must pay attention to the scope of certain radio transmission equipment, as it may be necessary to apply for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and / or Network Access License (NAL) approval in addition to the “Radio Type Approval Certification”.

1: Public mobile communication equipment
2: Wireless access system
3: Private network equipment
4: Microwave equipment
5: Satellite equipment
6: Radio and television equipment
7: 2.4GHz/5.8 GHz wireless access equipment
8: Short-range radio equipment
9: Radar
10: Other radio transmitting equipment
11: The type which not contained above can be drawn up according to the reference of similar equipment mentioned above

Documents Required

1: Application Form. Power of Attorney required for an agency;
2: Copy of “business license of enterprise / legal person” for the applicant (including agency);
3. Technical specifications and user manuals for the tested equipment;
4: Circuit diagram and block diagram of the tested equipment.
5: Documents include those of the sample tested:
① Overall Picture;
② Front Picture;
③ Profile Picture (including emitter, interface, etc.);
④ Backside Picture (including emitter, interface, etc.);
⑤ The internal circuit board of the tested equipment;
⑥ The name plate of the equipment subject to inspection shall clearly show the equipment model, full name of the applicant (equipment manufacturer), equipment serial number and approval code CMIIT ID and structure size.
