Products are labelled and marked in a permanent manner where it is readily visible after installation with the following information:
QAI compliance label (item 1097, black lettering with silver background) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel.
The Specification Nameplate (item 1068, 8-1/2” x 14” in size) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:

a) Manufacturer’s name and address
b) Date of Manufacture
c) Model serial number or Product Code
d) Foundation type (Perimeter Foundation Wall or Piers)
e) Floor Live Load (kPa)
f) Specified Snow Load (1/50)

Structures are:
Permanent Engineered Modular Structures built under Parts 3,4,5 and 6 of the Alberta or British Columbia Building Code. These permanent modular structures are classified under Group A2 Occupancy and are comprised of single or multiple modules. Structures included in this listing require considerations from Parts of the Building Code outside of Part 9 with respect to Structural, Fire Safety and Mechanical Systems.

Structures under this listing typically include units used as kitchen facilities for construction camps or classroom modules. This listing does not include structures with multiple Major Occupancies.

Structural:
Wood frame construction with secondary structural steel components designed in Part 4 by P.Eng.

Electrical System:
120/208V, 60Hz, 800A, 3PH

Plumbing System:
Conventional drain and vent systems to a maximum of 240 hydraulic fixture units, designed by P.Eng.

Heating/Ventilation: Units are equipped with natural gas or propane fired forced air handler units/furnaces and may contain roof top ventilation units

Gas System:
Units are equipped with natural gas or propane fired forced air handler units/furnaces and may contain commercial kitchen equipment

Fire Alarm System:
This certification covers factory installed portions of the fire alarm system. The design of the fire alarm system must be completed by a professional engineer registered in the Province in which the building is installed. Installation and commissioning of the fire alarm system must be completed on site by qualified technicians as per the requirement of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
