Products are labelled and marked in a permanent manner where it is readily visible after installation with the following information:
QAI compliance label (Item 1097, black lettering with silver background) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel.
The Specification Nameplate (item 1068, 8-1/2” x 14” in size) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:
• Manufacturer’s name and address
• Date of Manufacture
• Model serial number or Product Code
• Foundation type (Perimeter Foundation Wall or Piers)
• Floor Live Load (kPa)
• Specified Snow Load (1/50)
• Seismic Response Sa (0.2)

Permanent Engineered Modular Structures built under Parts 3,4,5 and 6 of the BC Building Code. These permanent modular structures are classified under Group A2 Occupancy and are comprised of single or multiple modules. Structures included in this listing require considerations from Parts of the Building Code outside of Part 9 with respect to Structural, Fire Safety and Mechanical Systems.
Structures under this listing typically include units used as kitchen facilities for construction camps. This listing does not include structures with multiple Major Occupancies.

Units are equipped with propane-fired forced air furnaces and roof-top ventilation units
Units are equipped with propane-fired furnaces and commercial kitchen equipment.
Fire Alarm System:
This certification covers factory installed portions of the fire alarm system. The design of the fire alarm system must be completed by a professional engineer registered in the Province in which the building is installed. Installation and commissioning of the fire alarm system must be completed on site by qualified technicians as per the requirement of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
Structures included in this listing are manufactured at a central facility and transported to site. These modules include provisions for on-site interconnections, connection to municipal services (water and sewer), gas and electrical supply. QAI certification covers the construction of the structures including any factory installed plumbing, gas and electrical services, equipment, and fixtures. QAI certification is intended to obviate the necessity of further inspection by the local regulatory authorities except for site connections to services or to other modules and site installed features.
