ANSI Z21.58-2007 / CSA 1.6-2007 “Outdoor Cooking Gas Appliances”

Propane gas appliance for recreational vehicle use only, for sale in Canada and the United State of America

Products are marked in a permanent manner where it is readily visible after installation with the following information in both English and French:
a) QAI logo with ‘c’, ‘us’ and ‘rv’ indicators
b) QAI File Number: REC607-2
c) Listee identification and address
d) Model number of the appliance
e) The product standards
f) Information for traceability: month and year of manufacture or batch number
g) Product ratings: normal hourly BTU input rating for all main burners and the manifold pressure in inches water column
h) The statement, “For Use with Propane Only.”
i) The statement, “For Use In Recreational Vehicles Only”
j) The statement, “Approved As An Unvented Unit”
k) Each appliance shall be clearly marked with the minimum horizontal distance from the sides and back of appliance to adjacent vertical combustible walls extending above the top panel from rear wall and minimum horizontal distance from front edge of counter to front side of appliance.
l) Each appliance shall be clearly marked with the minimum clearances between the appliance and combustible construction extending from the cooking surface to 18 in (457 mm) above the level of the cooking surface.
m) Each appliance shall have a marking stating a maximum depth of 13 in (330 mm) for the overhead cabinets.
n) Statement, “This appliance is not to be installed with a ventilation system that blows air downward toward the cooktop”
