Products are labelled and marked in a permanent manner where it is readily
visible after installation with the following information:
a) RV Specification Nameplate (QAI Label No 1040) Black lettering on
White background Size: 8 ½ inches by 11 inches – includes
Manufacturer’s Name and Address, Model Designation, Month and
Year of Manufacture, Rated Input Voltage, Frequency, Amperes or
Volt-Amperes Input, All Factory Installed Appliances, Model and
Listing Label Serial Number. The Specifications Nameplate is
located in the interior of the kitchen cabinet door.

b) One of the following QAI Round Label with the ‘c’ Identifier, label
number, and the wording “CSA Z240”:
ꞏ White Lettering on Orange (Fold Down Trailer)
Size: 3 ½ inches in diameter
ꞏ White Lettering on Purple (Single Axle Travel Trailer)
Size: 3 ½ inches in diameter
ꞏ White Lettering on Blue (Tandem Axle Travel Trailer, Fifth-Wheel
Trailer)
Size: 3 ½ inches in diameter
ꞏ White Lettering on Red (Slide in Truck Camper)
Size: 3 ½ inches in diameter
ꞏ White Lettering on Red (Motor Home)
Size: 3 ½ inches in diameter

Note: The QAI Round label is usually posted near the entranceway of
the RV.

c) Additional Markings as required by the Z240 standard.

Models:

For some models, the trade name is abbreviated and added to the
beginning of the model number. Model names begin with a three-letter
suffix and end with the model number. The first two letters of the suffix
correspond to the trade name. The third letter denotes the type of RV.
I.e.: AABXXXXXX
When abbreviated the AA represents the Trade Name:
CA = Cardinal, AG = Avant-Garde, GT = Georgetown, BE = Berkshire,
CH = Charleston, SS = Sunseeker, FR = Forester, LE = Lexington,
RV = RidgeView, AS = All American, SM = Salem, SM = Salem Lite,
FL = Flagstaff, SE = Sierra, WD = Wildwood, WD = Wildwood Lite,
SP = Spinnaker, RL = Rockwood, WS = Windsong,
FM = Rockwood Freedom, SA = Sandpiper, CK = Cherokee,
WC = Wildcats, CR = Cedar Creek, RF = Reflection,
PR = Rockwood Premier.
B represents the RV classification: A = Class A Motor home, C = Class C
Motor home, X = Class A Motor home with internal cargo transportation
areas, F = Fifth Wheel Trailer, T = Travel Trailer.
XXXXXX represents the specific model number
