Products are marked in a permanent manner where it is readily visible after installation with the following:
1.The Specification Nameplate (item 1068, white with black, 8-1/2” x 14”) is located on the inside of the kitchen cabinet door under the sink and includes:•Manufacturer’s Name and Address,
•Date of Manufacture,
•Model Serial Number or Product Code,
•Foundation Type (Perimeter Foundation Wall or Piers),
•Floor Live Load,
•Specified Snow Load (1/50),
•Seismic Response Sa(0.2),
•Hourly Wind Pressure (1/50),
•Envelope Effective Thermal Effectiveness,
•Windows/Doors/Skylights Thermal Characteristics,
•Outside Design Temperature,
•Factory installed Components, Assemblies, and Systems,

Single or multi-family dwellings classified under one Major Occupancy (Group C – Residential), comprised of single or multiple modules up to three storeys in building height that may be installed on a site-built engineered or prescriptive foundation. Modular homes under this scope have a building area not exceeding 600m2.
Factory Built Modular Homes are designed and constructed within the limitations of Part 9 of the applicable Building Code(s) and have been evaluated with vertical fire and sound separations. This listing does not include commercial/industrial units, apartment buildings, hotels, motels, panelized homes/buildings, and/or buildings with multiple major occupancies.

Modular Homes included in this listing are manufactured at a central facility and transported to the installation location. These modules must include provisions for on site interconnections, connection to municipal services (storm and sanitary), and electrical power supply. QAI Certification covers the construction of the modular homes, including any factory installed electrical, plumbing, appliances, and fixtures. QAI Certification is intended to obviate the necessity of further inspection by the local regulatory authorities except for all on site considerations including all work done outside the manufacturing facility.Site installation of productions must be done according to manufacturer’s installation instructions and in compliance with the requirements set out by the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
