Products are marked in a permanent manner where it is readily visible after installation with the following:
1. The Specification Nameplate (item 1068, white with black, 8-1/2” x 14” is located on the inside of the kitchen cabinet door under the sink and includes:
a) Manufacturer’s name or trademark
b) Date of Manufacture
c) Model Serial Number or Product Code
d) Foundation Type
e) Floor Live Load
f) Specified Snow Load
g) Seismic Response Sa(0.2)
h) Hourly Wind Pressure (1/50)
i) Effective Thermal Resistance of Building Envelope
j) Outside Design Temperature
k) Factory Installed Appliances
l) Site Installed Components, Assemblies and Systems
m) Electrical System Voltage, Frequency and Amperage
The QAI label with ‘c’ identifier (item 1067) – black with gold is normally located in close proximity to the electrical panel.

Factory Built Modular Homes built under Part 9 of the National Building Code and Alberta Building Code. Single or multi-family dwellings classified under one major occupancy (Group C, Residential), comprised of single or multiple modules up to three storeys in building height. Modular homes under this scope have a building area not exceeding 600m2.
Homes are designed and constructed within the limitations of Part 9 of the Building Codes and have been evaluated with vertical fire and sound separation. This listing includes multi-residential buildings such as duplexes and row houses that require vertical Fire and Sound separations.

Conventional Wood Frame Construction with Engineered Roof Trusses.
120/240V, 60Hz, 1PH, 200A max.
Conventional drainage and venting systems to a maximum of 240 hydraulic fixture units.
Heating and Ventilation System:
Modular homes may be equipped with central forced air furnaces and electrical baseboard heaters. Units may be installed with a heat recovery ventilator and air conditioning unit.
No gas system is installed in the Factory.
Solid Fuel Burning Appliances:
Installer must have W.E.T.T. Certification
Modular homes included in this listing are manufactured at a central facility and transported to the site location. These modules must include provisions for on-site interconnections, connection to municipal services (storm and sanitary), and electrical power supply. QAI Certification covers the construction of the modular homes including any factory installed electrical, plumbing, appliances, and fixtures. QAI Certification is intended to obviate the necessity of further inspection by the local regulatory authorities except for all on-site considerations including all work done outside the manufacturing facility.
Site installation of products must be done according to manufacturer’s installation instructions and in compliance with the requirements set by the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
