1.Installation of the noted horizontal fire doors is required to be in code complying floor / ceiling assemblies. Compliance of the rated floor / ceiling assembly is outside the scope of this report and must comply with the applicable codes.
2.Anchoring of the horizontal floor / ceiling assembly to resist the applied 7.2 kPa (150psf) design load is outside of this report and should be in accordance with site design.
3.For ratings associated with compliance to CAN/ULC S101-14, products must be installed in a 165 mm (6-1/2”) reinforced concrete slab floor assembly.Notes:
•Refer to QAI evaluation reports F482 and the applicable test reports for test assembly configurations used for fire endurance testing.
•Refer to the QAI FD002 – Fire Door Guidelines for general guidelines of fire door assemblies
•Final acceptance of the product in the intended application is to be determined by the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).
•Product is to be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s published installation instructions by qualified installing personnel.
