Note 1: Different sizes corresponding to different colors of MrPEX PEX-a Potable are dependent on manufacturers availability.

Note 2: List of approved pipe insulation for use with MrPEX PEX-a Potable products are outlined below.

Note 3: QAI’s certification only applies to the flame spread ratings.

CAN/ULC S102.2 – Surface Burning Characteristics

The following list of insulation types (at minimum thickness of ½ inch (13 mm) are approved for use with Safelink Systems Inc. MrPEX PEX-a Potable piping and accessories products at the maximum sizes outlined in the tables above.
The insulations noted must be listed to ASTM C547 by an approved agency are approved for use at the dimension specified above.
