1. QAI labels with the ‘C’ identifier (item 1095) – Relocatable Commercial/Industrial Structures CSA A277 compliance label is normally located in close proximity to the electrical panel.
2. The Specification Nameplate (item 1068, 8-1/2” x 14”, white with black lettering) is normally located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:

• Model Serial Number or Product Code,
• Foundation Type,
• Floor Live Load (kPa),
• Specified Snow Load (1/50),

Structures are:
Relocatable Commercial Industrial Structures comprised of single or multiple modules in single storey configurations. Structures included in this listing are intended to be used for providing accommodation for an industrial workforce living and working in a temporary location but does not apply to single family dwelling units or other types of prefabricated or manufactured buildings. Structures also may be used for Group D or F3 occupancies for a workforce working in a temporary location. Buildings with sleeping accommodation have a building area not exceeding 600m2 and buildings without sleeping accommodation have a building area not exceeding 1200m2.Structural:
Conventional wood-frame Construction designed in Part 4 by a Professional Engineer licensed to practice in the Province of Alberta.Electrical:
Main Service: 120/240V, 60Hz, 200A max.
Sub-panel: 120/240V, 60Hz, 100A max.Heating/Ventilation:
Central forced air furnaces. Units may be electric, natural gas or LPG fired. Systems may be equipped with air conditioning.Plumbing:
Conventional drainage and vent systems to a maximum of 240 hydraulic fixture units.Gas:
Units may be equipped with natural gas or LPG fired equipment and appliances.Oil:
Units may be equipped with a direct vent oil fired furnace.Notes: The operation of the complete fire suppression system is not included in this report and QAI certification. This report does not include structures for use in hazardous locations.
Structures included in this listing are manufactured at a central facility and transported to site. The modules include provisions for on-site interconnections, connection to municipal water, sewer, gas/LPG, and electrical services. QAI certification covers the construction of the structures including any factory installed plumbing, natural gas/LPG, and
electrical services, equipment, and fixtures. QAI certification is intended to obviate the necessity of further inspection by the local regulatory authorities except for site connections to services, other modules, or site installed features.Interconnection of modules and connection to services must be finished on site as specified in the plumbing, gas and electrical permits and are subject to inspection from the local authorities having jurisdiction.
Structures shall be installed under permit in accordance with the codes enforced by the authority having jurisdiction.
