All markings must be permanent and visible after installation.
1.The QAI label (item 1097, black letter with silver background) is normally located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:
a)Certification label serial number

c)QAI logo shown here:2.The specification nameplate (item 1068, 8-1/2” x 14” size) is provided to the purchaser and includes:
a)Manufacturer’s name or trademark
b)Date of manufacture

d)Foundation type (perimeter foundation wall or pier)

f)Specified snow load (1/50)

Factory Constructed Engineered Structures built under Parts 3, 4, 5 of the BC Building Code. Structures are used for single Major Occupancy classified as Group F, Division 2 – Medium Hazard Industrial Occupancies, constructed in single modules in single storey configurations. Structures classified in this occupancy are not intended for general public access.
Structures are designed and constructed within the limitations of Parts 3, 4 and Part 5 of the applicable building code. This covers only the structural and building envelope of the building.

Structural:
Steel frame construction designed under Part 4 by a professional engineer. The manufacturer of steel building systems is certified in accordance with the requirements of CSA A660 “Certification of Manufacturers of Steel Building Systems”. Steel building systems made of welded steel is completed by a factory certified in accordance with the requirements of CSA W47.1 “Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel”.

Heating/Ventilation:
Structures may be equipped with air conditioners.

Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression Systems:
This certification covers factory installed portions of the fire alarm and suppression systems. The design of the fire alarm and suppression systems is approved by a professional engineer registered in the province where the buildings are intended to be installed. Installation and commissioning of the systems must be completed on site by qualified technicians as per the requirements of the local Authority Having Jurisdiction. This certification does not cover completion of the fire alarm and fire suppression systems on site.
