Relocatable Commercial/Industrial Structures

Products are labelled and marked in a permanent manner where it is readily visible after installation with the following information:
1.The specification nameplate (item 1068, white with black, 8-1/2” x14”) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:

•Manufacturer’s Name and Address
•Date of Manufacture
•Model Serial Number or Product Code
•Foundation Type (Perimeter Foundation Wall or Piers)
•Floor Live Load (kPa)
•Specified Snow Load (1/50)
•Seismic response Sa(0.2)
•Hourly Wind Pressure (1/50)
•Envelope Effective Thermal Resistance
•Windows/Doors/Skylights Thermal Characteristics
•Outside Design Temperature (Heat Loss/Heat Gain)
•Factory installed Appliances
• Site Installed Components, Assemblies, and Systems
• Electrical systems Voltage, Frequency, and Amperage

2. QAI label with the ‘c’ identifier (item 1095) – Relocatable Commercial/Industrial Structures – CSA A277 Compliance Label.

Industrial/Commercial Relocatable Structures comprised of single or multiple modules in single storey configurations without a sprinkler system. Structures are classified under Group C – Residential and Group D – Business and Commercial Services Occupancies. Structures may contain sleeping accommodation and having a building area not exceeding 600m2.

Structural:
Conventional wood frame construction designed in Part 4 by a P.Eng.

Electrical Ratings:
120/240V, 60Hz, 200A max, 1PH

Heating/Ventilation:
Central Forced Air Furnaces. Units may be Electric, Natural Gas, or LPG fired. Units may be equipped with air conditioning.

Plumbing:
Conventional drainage and venting systems up to a maximum of 240 hydraulic fixture units.

Gas:
Units may include Natural Gas or LPG fired appliances for space and service water heating.

Relocatable units included in this listing are manufactured at a central facility and transported to the site. These modules, when completely assembled on site, are equipped with normal facilities for connection to municipal water, sewage, gas and electrical services. QAI certification covers the construction of the buildings, and any factory installed plumbing and electrical services and is intended to obviate the necessity of further inspection by the local regulatory authorities except for site connections to services or to other modules and for site mounting features.
