CSA Z240MH Series “Manufactured Homes”

Note: Unless otherwise specified, the Standards/Codes noted are the most current versions in effect.

Manufactured Homes

All markings must be permanent and visible after installation.
The QAI label (item 1064, white lettering on blue background, 3-1/2” diameter) for single section homes is normally located in close proximity to the electrical panel or next to the main entrance to the unit.
The CSA Z240MH Specification Nameplate (item 1072, black lettering on white background, 8-1/2” x 11”) is located on the inside of a kitchen cabinet door or the master bedroom closet and includes:
• Manufacturer’s name and address
• Date of manufacture
• Model Serial Number or Product Code
• Foundation Type (perimeter foundation wall or piers)
• Floor Live Load
• Specified Snow Load (1/50)
• Seismic Response S^a (0.2)

• Hourly Wind Pressure (1/50)
• Building Envelope Effective Thermal Resistance
• Windows/Doors/Skylights Thermal Characteristics
• Outside Design Temperature (Heat Loss or Heat Gain)
• Factory Installed Appliances
• Site Installed Components, Assemblies, and Systems
• Electrical Systems Voltage, Frequency, and Amperage

The scope of homes covered in this listing include:
Homes:
Single family manufactured homes comprised of single modules in single storey configurations.

Structural:
Conventional wood-frame construction with engineered roof truss systems.

Electrical Ratings:
120/240V, 60Hz, 200A max, 1 Phase

Heating/Ventilation:
Units are equipped with electric baseboard heaters and Heat Recovery Ventilator

Plumbing:
Conventional drain and vent system to a maximum of 240 hydraulic fixture units.

Gas Systems:
None.
