Manufactured Homes

All markings must be permanent and visible after installation.
The QAI label (item 1065, white lettering on green background, 3-1/2” in diameter) for Multiple Section Homes is normally located in close proximity to the electrical panel or next to the main entrance to the unit.
The CSA Z240MH Specification Nameplate (item 1072, black lettering on white background, 8-1/2” x 14”) is located on the inside of a kitchen cabinet door or the master bedroom closet and includes:
• Manufacturer’s Name and Address
• Date of Manufacture,
• Model Serial Number or Product Code,
• Foundation Type (perimeter foundation wall or piers),
• Floor Live Load,
• Specified Snow Load (1/50),
• Seismic Response Sa(0.2),
• Hourly Wind Pressure (1/50),

• Building Envelope Effective Thermal Resistance,
• Windows/Doors/Skylights Thermal Characteristics,
• Outside Design Temperature (Heat Loss/Heat Gain),
• Factory Installed Appliances,
• Site Installed Components, Assemblies, and Systems, and
• Electrical Systems Voltage, Frequency, and Amperage.

The Scope of Homes covered in this listing include:

Homes:
Single family manufactured housing comprised of multiple modules in single storey configuration.

Structural:
Conventional Wood Frame Construction with Roof and Floor Truss systems designed in Part 4 by P.Eng. Wood framing components outside of Part 9 designed by P.Eng. in Part 4

Electrical:
120/240V, 60Hz, 1PH, 200 Amps max.

Heating/Ventilation:
Units are equipped with forced air furnaces

Plumbing:
