QAI Laboratories and KTC (Korea Testing Certification) are pleased to announce the signing of a mutual agreement in recognition of the need to respond to market requests for certification of products in order for manufacturer’s to more efficiently place complying products on the global market.
The objective of the agreement is to provide mechanisms whereby QAI and KTC cooperate to offer efficient services to the client including the KC certification mark for Korea, QAI certification mark for USA and/or Canada, localized factory inspection services, and technical cooperation in the field of electrical safety and EMC requirements.
The agreement was signed on March 19, 2019 at QAI’s global headquarters in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The face to face meeting between QAI and KTC allowed for the deepening of an already strong relationship between the two agencies and expansion of the scope of cooperation. According to QAI President, Kent Adamson, “QAI is delighted to partner with KTC, a world class testing and certification agency in the field of electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It is apparent that KTC and QAI share the same values of providing competent and timely customer service to their clients.
Through this partnership, the organizations are able to provide access to the KC certification mark for product approval in South Korea along with QAI’s existing accredited certification programs in USA and Canada which will provide our clients with access to product approval on a global level.”
