QAI Is happy to announce that we have received accreditation from the Standards Council of Canada to conduct special inspections on electrical medical equipment using the SPE-3000 standard. With the hard work of our electrical team we were able to expand our scope, which presents an exciting opportunity for QAI as it allows us to expand our services to cover a wider range of electrical products.
This accreditation represents a large industry that is constantly changing. Medical products can be very complex and all of it’s electrical components are critical to it’s performance. It goes without saying that medical products need to be flawless in all aspects of the products life cycle, everything from manufacturing, to certification, to scheduled maintenance is crucial in making sure the products work accurately and effectively. QAI is happy to be a part of that process in making sure that electrical medical products meet the appropriate standards.
QAI’s departments are constantly working to expand their scopes and build a greater service offering. Gaining access into the electrical medical market is a big step into moving in that direction.
