1. QAI label with ‘C’ identifier (item 1096 – black lettering with silver background) is normally located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:

2. The specification nameplate (item 1068, 8-1/2” x 14” size) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel and includes:

−Model Serial Number or Product Code
−Foundation Type (Perimeter Foundation Wall or Piers)
−Floor live Load
−Specified Snow Load (1/50)
−Seismic Response Sa (0.2)
−Hourly Wind Pressure (1/50)

Factory Built Structures constructed in single or multiple modules, up to a maximum of 3-storey configuration, with a building area not exceeding 600 m². This listing includes structures intended to be used under a single Major Occupancy classified as:
•Group D – Business and Personal Service, or
•Group F, Division 3 – Low Hazard Industrial

The listing does not include structures with multiple Major Occupancies.

Structures under this listing typically include units used as field offices, washroom modules or for other similar temporary industrial structures. For a full list of structures covered under this occupancy please refer to Notes to Part 3, A-3.1.2.1.(1) Major Occupancy Classification in the QCC-B.

Vehicular lighting and brake lighting systems must be provided by the transport company and be in compliance with the requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.

Structural:
Conventional wood frame construction or engineered steel structures designed to Part 4 of the Quebec Construction Code (QCC).

Electrical Ratings:
347/600V, 60Hz, 250A max, 3-phase systems or
120/240V, 60Hz, 250A max, single-phase systems.

Heating/Ventilation:
Electric baseboard heaters. Units may be equipped with energy recovery ventilation units and heat pumps.

Plumbing System:
Conventional drainage and venting systems to a maximum of 240 hydraulic fixture units.

Gas System:
None.

Fire Alarm System:
Installation and commissioning of the fire alarm system consist of smoke detectors, exit signs and emergency power supply/lighting to be completed on site by qualified technicians as per the requirements of the local authority having jurisdiction.

Fire Sprinkler Systems:
None.
