Mobile Relocatable Commercial Industrial Structures

Products are labelled and marked in a permanent manner where it is readily visible
after installation with the following information:

Item 1061 – Specification Nameplate (Black lettering on white background, 8-
1/2”x11”) is located in close proximity to the electrical panel board and includes:
– Manufacturer’s name and address
– Model and serial number
– Date of manufacture
– Fuel type
– Complete electrical rating
– A list of appliances that are factory installed
– Ground snow load and roof design snow load
– Thermal resistance of insulation and the outside design temperature
used in heat-loss calculations
– The building codes met by the building
– Additional markings as may be required

Label

Structures are:
Commercial/Industrial relocatable structures comprised of single modules. The
frame of the structures is steel 8’x20’ or 8’x40’ containers. Structures are classified
under Group D occupancy in a single storey configuration without sprinkler
systems.
Commercial/Industrial structures under this scope typically include office space
and storage units. This listing does not include sleeping quarters, construction
camps, dining trailers, washcars, and other similar commercial or industrial
buildings.
Structural:
8’x20’ or 8’x40’ steel container units.
Electrical System:
120/240V, 60Hz, 100A max.
Plumbing System:
None.

Heating / Ventilation:
Units are equipped with electrical baseboard or forced air heating units.
Structures include in this listing are relocatable commercial/industrial structures
fabricated from 8’x20’ or 8’x40’ steel container units. All structural fabrication and
welding is performed by a fabrication shop certified to the CSA A660 for the scope
of work completed. These structures are manufactured at a central facility,
complete with electrical wiring for installation in the field. These structures, when
completely assembled on site, are equipped with normal facilities for connection to
electrical services. QAI certification covers the construction of the structures and
any factory installed electrical services, and is intended to obviate the necessity of
further inspection by the local regulatory authorities except for site connections to
services and for site mounting features.
