Prefabricated Floor, Wall and Roof Panels

All markings must be permanent and visible after installation.
1. Each panel is marked with the QAI label (item 1101, black with white, 4” x 3-3/8” size) and includes:
– Manufacturer’s name
– The wording “Prefabricated Panels”
– Panel serial number
– Reference to the specification nameplate
– Certification label serial number
– QAI logo shown here:2. The CSA A277 specification nameplate (item 1068, 8-1/2” x 14” size) is normally located in a location that will be readily visible when the building is complete or be provided to the purchaser:
– Manufacturer’s name or trademark
– Date of manufacture
– Model name or project code
– Foundation type (perimeter foundation wall or pier)
– Floor live load
– Specified snow load (1/50)
– Seismic response Sa (0.2)
– Hourly wind pressure (1/50)
– Building envelope effective thermal resistance
– Windows/doors/skylights thermal characteristics
– Site installed components, assemblies, and systems3. Other markings as required by the relevant code.
Note 2: The QAI labels and specification nameplate are available from QAI and must be applied at the factory.

Prefabricated panels intended for use in buildings classified as Group C – Residential major occupancies. The completed panelized buildings are limited to a maximum of 3-storeys in building height and a building area not exceeding 600 m2.
This Listing covers factory-built planar panels designed to be assembled on site to form the finished load-bearing structure. The closed panels are designed and constructed within the scope of Part 9 of the British Columbia Building Code.
The manufacturer provides structural floor, wall and roof panels of wood-frame construction. Refer to the attached Panel Product Description for additional details (link to Panel Product Description).
Models identified under the same graphic illustration may vary in dimensions and may include or exclude certain components.
This Listing does not cover the installation of electrical, plumbing, gas, fire alarm, sprinkler, fire suppression systems, or other building systems and equipment not specifically identified within the scope of this listing. The panels have not been evaluated for fire resistive assemblies (fire resistance ratings) or acoustical performance.
