QAIはバンクーバー建築規定関係当局の方々がカナダのバーナビーに位置するQAI本社訪問を嬉しく思います。当社は、今回訪問したバンクーバーの関係当局の関係者に、カナダの現在の法規や関連する試験方法の中、一部を選択して見学とデモ実演を行いました。   今回の訪問は、QAIのElectrical Safety部門からスタートしてEMC部門に移動する日程で行われました。バンクーバー建築基準関係当局の関係者は、当社の大きさ3メートルの半無響室（SAC）内で、電気製品が周辺環境に電波干渉を起こすかの確認では、どのようにテストするのかをデモ披露いたしました。 以後関係者は、QAIの建材部門に移動して20分間に行われたCAN / ULC S104（ドア製品の火災試験の標準的な方法）と ホースの流量要件に応じた防火扉の火災試験を参観しました。 その後、当社のドア、窓担当部門では、この日の参加者を対象に、スライドパティオドア（sliding patio door）について、それぞれの空気漏れと水漏れの確認試験デモを披露しました。この試験は、AAMA / WDMA / CSA 101 / IS2 / A440（北米建具標準：NAFS）に基づいて行われました。 QAIは多忙なスケジューの中、当社の施設を訪問してくださった全ての関係当局の方々に感謝申し上げます。これからも当社は、バンクーバー市民と世界の皆様の安全と保護に一役を担っています。
