In 2017 QAI was able to continue to take strides to seek out the best way to service our customers and offer the necessary services that are required. Over the past year the QA Team has been busy with preparing scope expansion packages to add new capabilities and test methods to our scopes of accreditation throughout the organization. QAI recently added solid fuel and gas fuel to our certification and inspection scopes of accreditation. We have also now added certification and inspection for the US EPA Formaldehyde Emissions in Composite Wood
Products!
With the development of a new building in Tulsa, QAI is looking forward to being able to expand our testing capabilities. The majority of construction will be complete early in 2018 after which we look forward to moving into our new home. The new laboratory provides the Tulsa location with almost
double their current square footage which will allow for expansion of our testing capabilities.
We were able to add new team members in all different areas of the company this year in Canada, United States, and China! Our team has also had a very busy attending trade shows. QAI attended over 30 trade shows and events in 2017, allowing us to create many new relationships and learning experiences.
So, as you can see, all locations of QAI have been hard at work looking for new markets and new capabilities and we could not be more excited to head into 2018 and see what we can accomplish.
